I just received this boot today and I love it! It looks similar to a boot I owned many years ago so I had to have this one. It's soft and comfortable. I have never bought a shoe that has 2 sizes so I was a little skeptical about it. I used to be a perfect size 5 1/2 M from childhood well into adulthood until my very high arches started to fall so now I am a perfect size 6M. This shoe is a 5 1/2 - 6. I thought it would be too tight but it is loose. I think I can make it work with "thick" socks and my arch orthotics. I am afraid to send for the 5 because it may be too small. A shoe cannot be two sizes but this one is but shouldn't be for obvious reasons. I can wear a 5 1/2 in sandals but not in a closed toe shoe. This shoe would be too big for someone wearing a 5 1/2, in my opinion, because I now wear a 6M and this boot is loose on me.The other thing is the color. It is advertised as black multi but I have looked at it in the light and all I see is black and that is okay. I do see that the zipper is purple. Because I bought this shoe with a coupon I got it for a very good price so the price and the shoe all in all is great. My only worry is will my foot slip and slide in this boot over a period of time. I will wear around the house on the carpet for a few days and then determine whether or not to return. It would break my heart to have to return it. I wish I could try on the size 5 without having to order and wait for shipping. I am up in the air about it right now.This shoe did not need both a zipper and laces because it is roomy enough to get your foot in with just the laces.They appear narrower than the B width, however when I wore them the leather is so soft and of good quality and they mold and fit like a glove. They are very nice comfortable boots. I’d buy them again.Beautiful, classy boots. Very comfortable, true to size. A bit narrow in toe box, but as you can see from pictures it is pointed. Made it through first day wearing at work for 10 hrs without any issues. The sole is a bit thin and the style/fit does not allow for thick socks. So it might be a bit cold for winter but perfect for fall.I wear an 8 medium, usually, but in these I tried that size and they were too narrow. However they did not have the wider width so I just ordered up a half size and they fit perfectly. My daughter bought my size 8's so they didn't go back. These are just so cute. I have not worn them for any period of time yet..so cannot attest to the length of time they can be worn in comfort. Perhaps I can adjust this comment as to length of time and comfort at a later date. Just SO cute and different. Just ordering a half size up made all the difference.At first I thought I received solid black boots, but once I was in the light, you can clearly see they are black & blue. I love them. Super soft on the inside and they look awesome on! I will definitely be purchasing the brown pair next. Hopefully, they will go on sale. :)I can comfortably wear these to work and I'm on my feet for 4-6 hours a day. I specifically got these because I wanted something professional that wouldn't hurt my annoying feet, so I'm very happy and already got another pair from Spring Step. Arrived quickly and as expected.I guess since this was a 6.5 to 7 I should’ve figured it would be smaller than a true seven. I had to send back which sucks cause they’re beautiful.My wife wanted something to wear with fishnets and a dress , we are going to a live performance of Rocky Horror at the Stratford Festival this summer . She says these are very comfortable and the leather is soft as butter so she could have gone down half a size.
