I walk dogs in the morning, and the morning dew often soaks through my regular sneakers, so I bought these for that specific purpose. They help somewhat, but I still end up with damp socks. The fit is mostly okay, but from the sole to the top of the shoe is somewhat narrow, so you may want to go half a size up. They also take some breaking in due to the stiff material. All in all, they are a good walking shoe without the clunkiness of a hiking boot, so I would probably buy again.
