These boots are comfortable and are very soft leather. I was disappointed though because the color in the photo is incorrect. The boots I received are more of a Mocha shade not brown.I love them! I put them on and went for a walk.I absolutely love these boots! They fit my size 12 foot and are beautiful! Love the flexibility of wearing them with the collar up or folded down. They go great with my Edwardian era clothing for the Somewhere In Time event at the Grand Hotel plus they look great with jeans. Out of four different orders, this was the only pair of boots that fit well and had the style flexibility I was searching for.Outstanding cuffed shoe. Leather is buttery smooth and soft. I struggle to find shoes that look stunning and are comfortable to wear but these are perfect.Some commenters here are upset the shoes are made in China. These shoes are European design as well as Italian leather. China just assembles them. I plan on purchasing another color.My feet usually hurt all the time, but these boots felt so comfy from the moment I put them on. No rubbing, no pinching, no blisters, no soreness. I wore them for the first time all day and all night to attend a wedding in the mountains on uneven terrain and later concrete flooring. They were comfy, cute and perfect!I love these boots. The leather is buttery soft and the shoe itself is sooo comfortable. I read other reviewers remarks on the boots getting scuffed very easily, but I'm not planning on wearing them every day. For me they're special occasion shoes, when I want to feel extra chic at work. They're especially cute with ankle pants. They do have the look of Victorian boots, they look dainty, even in my size 10! :-)I've bought the Bordeaux (which is not exactly a uniform color by the way, unlike the picture, but no less beautiful) and loved it so much that I bought another pair in black! Beautiful, comfortable, and stylish even in the lower heel... What more could I ask for? Very happy with my purchase!I love the color and they add just the right amount of old school class to any outfit.I like this boot. The leather is soft. The insole is a bit thin and could benefit from some additional padding. I found the boot to be a bit narrow across the bridge but hopefully it will stretch. This boot has a lovely look to it. I would recommend it. I will revisit this review in a few months.Beautifully-made boots. The leather is soft, the fit is comfortable, and the colour is deep and elegant oxblood, just gorgeous. I might have to have these in black, as well. Possibly also brown. :)
