I wear a 6.5 or 7 shoe but the 37 was borderline too big, and the boot seems to run large and wide overall. As a (hopefully) helpful reference measurement, my calf is 15" at the widest point and these had plenty of room to spare - enough that they would have fit just fine with thick socks and tucked-in pants. So if you have a wide foot and/or wide calf, don't be deterred by the standard-width sizing - this may fit you just fine. But if you've got narrow feet/lower legs, this style may not be your best bet.As far as the design - it's not visible in either product image, but the boot has a full-length zipper down one side, which definitely helps with faster/easier on and off. The zipper + laces approach means the boot can accommodate a lot of different leg shapes and sizes, but because it's so wide I found that when I cinched the laces tightly enough that the boot felt secure, there was too much extra material bunching up around my legs (and enough extra lacing left over that I had to wind it around the top of the boot before tying).The wedge is great - not too high, but enough to add some style, and the footbed is comfortable and supportive. I really wish they'd left off the faux fur at the top, though, because it's not as nice as it looks in the picture and I think it detracts from the overall appearance of what is otherwise an attractive boot.Awesome boots! Purchased a spare pair! Normally wear a size 7.5. Bought size 38 (8) so i could wear thick wool sock. PERFECT!!! So comfortable i can wear all day and stylish to wear to work with a dress on those rain/snow days. Because of the small platform on this shoe you feel no cold from the ground. Definetly recommend!!Great snow boot but it fit odd. The leather/rubber part that meets the soft boot part in the back was too high and made it awkward/uncomfortable to walk in the boot.Heel was too high inside. I ended up giving them away.A little tight but length is good.My feet stayed dry and warm in the snow. Great buy! Very comfortable.This is my 3rd pair...
