I shoe that make a statement. These shoe are the right heel for me. They fit well at the ankle. And… soooo cute.I received so many comments on this unique boot. The low heel makes it comfortable for wearing all day.For a theatrical performance set in 1899 this shoe held up well thru a vigorous dance number on a heavier than usual actress. It may have looked better on someone without the larger ankles that typically accompany a heavier person. To stretch them out for her, I had a male actor with a Men's size 9.5 foot dance about in them for about an hour. He would have worn them out nightclubbing if I had let him. This hints to the fun this shoe inspires. Kudos to the shoe company for the design inspiration.The boot is beautiful and very well made. I purchased a size 38 and it is extremely narrow and tight. I have several boots made by this company and I love them all.These boots are gorgeous as are all the Springstep booties. They fit according to size stated, are beautiful handtooled leather and can wear them all day with great comfort. They are SO light on your feet, I own 3 pairs and will get more.
